Breaking News coming in has it that the Professor Richard Akindele who was accused of demanding for sex to upgrade the marks of his student has been sacked by the Governing Council of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife Nigeria. The accused Professor who was allegedly caught on phone voice recording in his conversation with his would-be victim Monica Osagie, was thoroughly investigated and found wanting by the University governing council.
Monica Osagie according to findings was a postgraduate student in the department of Management and Accounting and completed her program in 2018.
The verdict was made public on Wednesday at a press conference organised by the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile ife, where the Vicer Chancellor Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede made the pronouncement of their findings and resolutions.
The University decision followed series of Senate meetings and Council's approval which was done in line weith the due process for such matters, our SSN News Intel gathered.
