Australia's first legal same-sex wedding takes place in Sydney
Lauren Price, 31, and her partner Amy Laker, 29, made history on Saturday by tying the knot in front of 65 guests in Sydney, Australia.
They were the first gay couple to be legally married in Australia, after a federal law legalizing same-sex marriage on December 9, 2017.
The couple had initially planned on having a civil union, but was granted an exemption to the 30-day notice period to make their union legally binding under the new laws on financial grounds, as Price's family had already traveled from Wales to Australia for this weekend's ceremony.
Could this just be the pro.otion of human right to freedom of sexual association or simply signs of the end?
