As Nigerians and the Organised labour prepare for a wider showdown with State Governors over the latter's refusal to adopt and pay the agreed Nigeria's new minimum wage of 30,000 for workers, another revelation has thrown more light on the rationality of labour's demand and right.
According to the latest and trending public opinion on the new minimum wage of 30,000 NGN, in recent times, Our Governors told Nigerians they wanted a State Police, promising us they could fund & run a Police force better than the Federal Government. Nigerians believed them.
Nigerians are asking them to Pay 30,000 naira only as minimum wage, they now say they won't because they don't have the resources to. We still believe them...
The hundred billion dollar question for Nigeria"s 30,000 Naira new minimum wage crises is, "with which resources did Nigerian Governors exactly plan to fund their proposed "American-standard" state police?
Please feel free to answer this question if you can... Somebody is not being sincere and patriotic here. Nigerian workers deserve the best. 30,000 minimum wage is just the least any credible Government could render to her workforce, for survival sake...not even for basic comfort, much less luxury.
