The suspension of the strike followed resolutions reached by the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC, Ayuba Wana in Abuja. The planned total industrial action and total shutdown of Nigeria over struggle for the new minimum wage for workers was scheduled for today, November 6, if not for this call-off.
