It was all captured in pictures in one of the orientation camps of the National Youth Service Corps, as a popular hip pop Nigerian artist Davido, reported to camp in full NYSC uniform kits, apparently to serve Nigeria for one year.

Surprisingly it became a twist of the NYSC policy where the Nigerian-born international music star Davido was being attended to (served) and heavilly guarded by armed soldiers and other security personal.

Could this not be a breach of the NYSC service policy where all serving youth corps members ought to be treated as equal and where humility and simplicity ought to be the watch word?

Although Davido is an internationally acclaimed music star, should he be mobilized for the national youth service without regards to the tenets of the scheme?

Here is Davido as a Youth Corps member in pictures... Is he serving his fatherland or his fatherland serving him?
